Thank you so much for all your kind comments, and for taking the time to say what you would like to see more of. For this Giveaway, I went with Fashion. One thing that I can’t live without is my Dior Show Mascara. It is amazing and once you start using it, you won’t go back. It makes my lashes so full and thick. The best part is it doesn’t flake, rub off, or even when shedding tears…it stays in place. My number one MUST HAVE for your EYES. Now…a little bit about this gorgeous couple. And since this is my little sis, I can say that I just love them so much. I am not going to lie, I was so shocked when I heard they were getting married. I mean it is my sister and I still think she is only 11 years old. Time goes by to fast. But, I am so excited for them. They really are so cute together and have so much fun. I love that they can really let their personalities come out, be themselves, and show each other their love. I know they are going to be so happy together. Can’t wait for their wedding day…and can’t wait to be apart of it. I love you sis…and MJ, I am so glad to have you as part of the family.

I will be out of the office until Monday, July 19th. All emails and phone calls will be returned then. Also…if you have emailed me in the past about Mentoring, and I have not gotten back to you…well lets just say I HATE SPAM and the fact that more then a handful of emails just came in. I am leaving on a jet plane to…Kansas…to shoot a Wedding. I am so excited to shoot in a new area, that I have never been too…and be with close friends on their special day. What a great job I have!

I couldn’t let the rest of this post go on without saying a few things about this beautiful couple! Jannica and Travis are beyond words drop dead gorgeous! This session is one of my favorite engagement sessions. I loved how they could laugh, be romantic, and just be so in love. Their chemistry is perfect. I love when a couple can really just forget I am there and just be them. Jannica and Travis…I heart you and can’t wait to shoot your wedding!

There is just something about LOVE that makes me feel whimsical.

I know there are so many of you upset at me for the lack of blogging lately…and I am deeply sorry I am so grateful for all of you loyal followers out there…or as you call yourselves “stalkers” haha. This post is for you. I have been shooting like a mad woman lately and loving every minute. I love meeting so many wonderful people and getting to know them. Plus…I get to be apart of so many great love stories. Yes, I admit, I am a hopeless romantic. Romance fuels me. Makes me passionate about life. I love…love. To watch the tender moments, the tiny glances, the way he looks at her when she walks, the gentle kisses…makes me melt. Love…when you have it, don’t let it go. Grab a hold of it and run with it….

Ashely and Josh were just so sweet with each other. From the moment I meet them, I could tell that Josh absolutely adored Ashley. From the way he talks to her, looks at her, and just treats her with the sweetest kindness. They are high school sweethearts, best friends, and make a perfect couple. Plus how cute is their dog, Mattie?

What a great family! I am sure you recognize Ashly Costa from Dancing With the Stars. Not only is she beautiful beyond words, an amazing dancer, but she is such a loving and kind person. You can tell her family is the most important thing to her. She just radiates happiness. Her husband and boys are so sweet, and they adore her as well. I love seeing a Mother that does what she is passionate about, and can beautifully balance her family. Ashly is a true example of that. I so loved doing this session. It is always amazing to witness a family together and seeing their love.

Did you ever go into your mothers closet and look at all her jewelry, purses, shoes and clothes…and wish you could wear them? I used to love looking at my mothers and grandmothers things. Holding them in my hands, trying them on, and of course posing and acting like I was such a lady in the mirror. I used to love playing dress-up! (ok, I still do!) My beautiful Iza is the same way. She likes to go into my closet and look at all my things…hold them, wear them, and look at herself in the mirror. She always asks, “Do I get all these things when I get bigger?” I always reply, “Of course, you will be the hippest girl around.” hahah.

So…I had to get pictures of her wearing all my things…and of course she had to have the red lips What fun it is to share something with your daughter. I always love taking her pictures, she always just does her own poses and we have so much fun…to cute.
